Overview

The [Portfolio] Insert is made to fit inside your Traveler’s Notebook and help organize the small paper items you carry throughout the day.

Designed in collaboration with Baum-Kuchen, it is made from 2–3 oz premium vegetable-tanned leather from Himeji, Japan. The leather is professionally skived, durable, and made to age beautifully with use.

The [Portfolio] can be used inside your Traveler’s Notebook or on its own as a slim document case in your bag.

Materials & Construction

The [Portfolio] has two folder-style pockets for cards, receipts, tickets, cash, notes, boarding passes, and other flat paper goods.

The Regular Size version also includes card slots on both sides. The right-side slot can hold business cards and credit/debit cards vertically. The left-side slot can hold a passport and cards horizontally.

The Passport Size version is a smaller, simpler organizer with two folder pockets, made for compact carry inside the Passport Size Traveler’s Notebook.

Each insert is made from premium Himeji leather, a Japanese vegetable-tanned leather that will age and develop character with use. Every piece is made in Tokyo, Japan, at the 1.61 workshop from start to finish.

Choose Traveler’s Notebook Regular if you use the full-size Traveler’s Notebook.

Choose Traveler’s Notebook Passport if you use the smaller Passport Size Traveler’s Notebook.

If you want more space for boarding passes, travel papers, receipts, or a passport, choose the Regular Size.

If you want a compact organizer for cards, cash, receipts, and small notes, choose the Passport Size.
