Overview
When we travel, we want to carry the bare minimum: only the essentials.
We do not want heavy, chunky items weighing us down. Traveling light and staying flexible is important, but we still like having a notebook with us.
The Envelope Notebook Cover was designed for this purpose. It is a simple leather notebook cover with a single envelope-shaped pocket.
It protects your notebook and gives you a place to keep small paper items collected throughout the day.
Our idea came from traveling, carrying tote bags filled with notebooks, pens, tickets, receipts, and small pieces of memorabilia from the trip.
With this cover, you can leave your larger notebook setup at the hotel and carry just one notebook while you hike, sightsee, or sit outside with a cup of coffee.
When you return, you can write your entries, organize your souvenirs, and keep everything together.
Materials & Construction
Inspired by the classic letter envelope and well-tailored clothes, this cover has a clean front panel with no visible stitch line on the outside face.
We designed the cover with minimal stitching for durability and a quiet, simple look.
The folded leather construction creates clean lines and a soft structure. The layers of folded leather also remind us of a traditional kimono.
The details make this cover an elegant and simple solution for carrying what you need, without adding unnecessary bulk.

This cover is designed for the notebook sizes listed above, not oversized or heavily expanded setups.
How to Choose Your Size
Choose the size that matches your notebook or planner.
For thinner notebooks, choose the standard version.
For thicker notebooks, daily planners, or 365-day notebooks, choose the Extra version when available.
Example:
- Choose A5 for thinner A5 notebooks such as MD Note A5 or Muji A5.
- Choose A5 Extra for thicker A5 planners such as Hobonichi Cousin or Stalogy 365 A5.
If you are unsure, measure your notebook’s height, width, and thickness before ordering.
